Bees

Today a swarm of bees came to visit over the front door of our house. Go away, bees!

The bees are gone.

Next time, I'll probably just ignore them, and that's my advice to you. If the bees are on the outside of the structure, they're just resting. Only when you see bees going into and out of a structure is that evidence of a hive, or so a beekeeper has told me. I've also heard from a coworker who used to raise bees that she can recommend someone to collect a swarm should anyone have such a situation in the future.

Note that there were a few bees in my attic, but they were just scouts. Bees will not make a hive in an attic. The heat would melt the comb.
